libfilehandle-unget-perl software package provides Perl module that allows ungetting of multiple bytes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfilehandle-unget-perl
libfilehandle-unget-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfilehandle-unget-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfilehandle-unget-perl *
You will get with libfilehandle-unget-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
